Buckshaw Village is a residential and industrial area close to the towns of Chorley and Leyland in Lancashire, most of which sits in the Buckshaw area of Euxton.

It is one of the largest urban development sites in the North West of England with a population of about 4,000. Buckshaw Village alone consists of over 2,800 units (properties alone), consisting of houses, coach houses, apartments and other building types. The still relatively new development around Brookwood Way, is expected to be in the region of 2,000 units upon completion.

The still relatively new development is taking place on the former site of the Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF), and covers several square kilometres. The area of land was known as Buckshaw, before it was requisitioned by the War Office in the 1930s.

There are various community groups across Buckshaw including the local Village Church, Buckshaw Village Community Association, the Buckshaw Youth Group as well as local football teams and events going on throughout the year including events around Halloween, Easter and Christmas.

This page will be updated with community events on Buckshaw and the wider community.
